No. You can get a gift card at the restaurant but not online
lol no, they just suck at being consistent with their hours. They turn off their espresso machines an hour before closing. They just shut their place down whenever the workers feel like it.
Been going to this place since I was a baby and love their coffee so much but when I try to go there around 7 they always have turned off their espresso machine and have the desserts put away....and they close at 8. A bit disappointed as of recent.
Met the love of my life here, so I'm a tad biased.
Cozy cafe, great hot drinks!
Great place to go and read, sit back relax and unwind. Even just sitting here drinking coffee and taking interview is peaceful.
Ok. A hipster place with friendly counter help. I ordered a piece of lemon cranberry Bundy cake and an Expresso with simple syrup and seltzer. The coffee drink was on their chalk board in front of the register. It sounded intriguing. I patiently waited for the coffee as other people who ordered coffee after me and they received theirs. I was finally told that they were out of simple syrup. So I asked for a refund. The piece of Bundy cake was awful. Dry, tasteless, only 2 cranberries. It seems like a place for regulars with chess boards, etc.
Great coffee, unfortunately there are no gluten free options on their food menu.
First of all, the drip coffee selections were amazing. I tried the two flavors and they were fantastic. The barista was so helpful I'm guiding me toward my choices. I also had an omelette and just right. All vegetarian, flavorful and not overly done. Thanks!
Amazing Falafel wrap and amazing price.
Great cafe and eatery. Great staff and the egg salad sandwich was delicious.
Great hometown vibe. Prices are a little steep but its a trendy place
Oh my goodness, so good! Latte, oatmeal bars, and quesadillas. You cant really go wrong on anything you order here!!
The fresh Filafel wrap was incredible. Best vegetarian place in Edwardsville
Great Vibe. Good service. Reasonable price.
Great little place. Came around lunch time with my wife. The iced latte was really good and their peanut butter cookie was fire! Huge too. Sorry, didn't think to take a picture until it was already gone!
Delicious food, warm and friendly atmosphere, fantastic coffee. A wonderful, affordable option for vegans in the Metro East area. The vegan Reuben, beet burger, and falafel wrap are some of my favorite vegan dishes in the area. Make sure if you’re going for food you go early— they tend to sell out in the afternoon! Vegetarian brunch on Sundays, regular menu not served.
Incredibly friendly staff, amazing coffee, delicious treats.
Grrrrr8 place always good healthy food! Very reasonable prices.
Yummy food, nice people. A good place to study. I enjoy seeing the artwork they showcase.
I tried there nitro coffee. I don't think it was for me but I love this place I've been going since I was in high school now my daughter's love it as well.
Chai latte was not very good, tasted like soap! I've been several times but the service seems to get worse each time I go!
One of my favorite spots. Great coffee, atmosphere, people and goodies.
Interesting menu of good food, coffees, teas and desserts.Art adorned walls. A nice place to sit and talk or get some work done.
We get fresh ground coffee to take home. Really good quality. Fair price. Always good service. Nice that it is an independent shop doing well.
I've been coming here for 20 years! I've always loved the vibe and the coffee.
A small coffee shop that's generally full of people. Excellent coffee and great egg salad. Friendly staff and lots of character.
Cute coffee shop with a great selection of drip coffee. I tried the quiche and a biscotti for breakfast, and they did not disappoint.
I have traveled a lot of places, and this tiny coffee shop has some of the best coffee I've had anywhere, really pleasant experience, hope to try some pastries out next time I visit. Nothing grabbed my attention last time I was there.
Their coffee is delicious and their food is impressively cheap and vegetarian! I recommend the beet burger, the hummus wrap, the peppermint mocha, and all of the pastries!
the staff was very nice, our order came out really quickly and I really recommend the mushroom, swiss and caramelized onion quiche for brunch. it is easy to miss but hard to forget.
Amazing coffee and deserts and the food are above and beyond
Everytime I visit Edwardsville, I eat here! I always get the vegan reuben sandwich and it's delicious. I wish there were more vegan options however, and some vegan sides as well. For a yummy, light bite to eat and some good coffee, this is a great place to eat in downtown Edwardsville
Love this place. Awesome food and coffee
I've been going here for a year to study and whoever is the cashier can make or break your experience. Sometimes I get someone who is happy to to take your order, but most of the time the cashier has attitude. Food is ok. Pastries usually have flies in the case with them. Coffee is the only good thing here but that's only if they don't turn off their espresso machines an hour before closing.
Awesome place, great vibes, cool staff, delicious food and beverages.
Popular local coffee shop with great vibes and a loyal following. Not the place to go for tea, but I'm told it's great for a coffee drinker. The food is good, and you really should have some cake.
I really like this café. As an ex-Starbucks employee, it's nice to see a small business doing well despite companies like Starbucks existing. From now on, if I don't make my coffee at home, this will be my go-to spot for a triple, small latte. The pumpkin bread that I had on my last visit was very moist, with a touch of nutmeg that would pair well with a chai tea or a dark roast coffee. Employees have been really friendly every time I've visited, and that really makes it even better. The young guy in his mid-late twenties with the hipster hair and glasses is really pleasant.
A nice little coffee shop downtown. I do like that you can pay for coffee either as a cup or an unlimited thing. (which .. is dangerous for my husband) but I like that they have 3 or 4 different kinds of coffee brewed and you can choose what you'd like or you can order something specialty. It's clean, the staff were welcoming, they had a few board games for customers to sit and play if desired, and it was an all around laid back experience.
Parking was limited. The shop itself was pretty snug and loud. However, the name is catchy so there ya go!
Great coffee!
So disappointing. Drove 20 minutes just to get here from the Archon science fiction convention in Collinsville on the basis of Happy Cow saying they had vegan options - which they do for lunch, but the only vegan breakfast option was oatmeal. We could have had oatmeal free at the hotel!
The best place in town for veggetarian food!
This is the worst cafe in the Midwest. Seriously. Service was poor and wait-time was almost an hour for the worst salad and overpriced, watery iced coffee ever. I would've asked for my money and left if the barista didn't keep telling me that my food was going to be out in a minute. This place just sucks. I seriously hope they get a staff change.
The drink I chose was good, and I was excited to see the many options. I picked a Caramel Hazelnut Cappuccino. I also picked out a cinnamon bun which was also good. The place is cluttered with tables though making it hard to move around because there are no clear paths. Oddly that is part of the beauty of a place like this, it almost feels homey. I don't care for the clutter, but if clutter doesn't bother you then this place is so welcoming. Another small criticism I have is that there is no way to know where your drink will be presented to you, no way to know where to put your dishes when finished. Its whimsical, but also disappointing.
Scared grounds is a great place if you like Coffey or tea there tea is on point and they also do good food from what i heard worth a try. Its chill place to relax or go sit on ur computer and get stuff done they have an old pay phone to if u need to make a call.
Downtown Edwardsville it's a pretty darn good coffee shop great atmosphere different people great decor
The staff was very helpful and got ke my food very quickly. I really enjoy the paninis, they are made with fresh ingredients and cooked pretty well. The coffee drinks are much better than the generic Starbucks, probably because the higher quality coffee.
My husband and I love this place the eggplant panini is so good. Great atmosphere and we love the turtle dove flavor coffee. A true gem in Edwardsville.
Every time I'm in Edwardsville I have to stop by Sacred Grounds. My go to is the vanilla latte and it's so delicious. All the bakery items are to die for (especially the sour cream pecan cake). And I'm typically in and out within 5 minutes. I wish this place was closer to home, I'd go everyday!
Waffle iron was oos but told after 15 min wait! Other food was mediocre and slow service! Disappointing experience overall!
Worst cappuccino ive ever had- totally flat milk and tasteless espresso. Guy at the register didnt know the menu well enough to even answer what kind of cheese came on the sandwich. Poorly trained employees is the #1 reason for this bad review
